Ice pack. 1,000 crunches. Herb-mint mask. Then mergers and acquisitions.

The most famous grooming routine in film, drawn like a page from a vintage department store catalogue: twelve numbered steps in fine pen and ink with a pale mint wash, from the ice pack and the deep-pore cleanser lotion to the anti-aging eye balm and the final protective lotion. Step twelve is a leather briefcase and a desk clock: 9:00, Mergers and Acquisitions.

This is the routine Patrick Bateman walks through at the start of American Psycho (2000), where he is a vice president at the fictional Wall Street firm Pierce & Pierce. The steps follow the film's order.

A great gift for investment bankers, M&A analysts, consultants and anyone whose morning routine has more steps than their deal pipeline.
