The illustration is drawn by hand, deliberately rough, and reads at a distance: sunlight somewhere up at the top of the frame, a long stretch of empty water, and then the wreck down where the bargains supposedly live. The anchor is nearby. It usually is.

Half the people who see it will read it as Graham-era investing philosophy. The other half will think about a certain few weeks in early 2021 when the seabed briefly became the most crowded place in the market. Both readings are correct, which is the entire point of hanging it up.
